About Natural Forest Distribution
Natural Forest Distribution, established in 2006, is an exclusive supplier of lumber and wood products that have been certified to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards. Natural Forest has worked to create strategic partnerships with industry leaders in order to establish volume production and competitive pricing. The program has been influenced by input from architects, designers, builders, developers, foresters, landowners, pro-yard dealers and the mills that produce the FSC lumber, timbers, panels and specialty products for us. Natural Forest distributes to lumberyards in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, and can ship many products throughout North America. We have a huge inventory of FSC forest products ready to ship for your next green-building project.
Our chain-of-custody certification, attained independently through the Rainforest Alliance’s SmartWood program, assures you that the lumber and wood products you purchase from Natural Forest have been harvested in a responsible manner. The forest operations are rigorously monitored — trees are individually selected for cutting and are replanted in a biodiverse manner. The forests remain healthy and strong with few of the pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers used in traditional industrial forests. Each log is tracked in a chain of custody — from forest, to mill, to lumberyard — to certify its authenticity.
